eHarmony (eHarmony.com.au) is a US based dating site that has expanded into the Austalian online dating market recently. They have embarked on a very significant mainstream media advertising campaign to promote the Australian eHarmony dating site.
eHarmony is a very majopr player in online dating in the US. It claims to be responsible for 2% of all US marriages. I'm sure the cynics out there will be wondering what percentage of US divorces it is responsible for:)
eHarmony Strengths
- eHarmony's matching technology is probably the best in the industry
- they are growing fast in Australia, which means lots of new members being added all the time
eHarmony Weaknesses
- for some reason the members at eHarmony are a lot 'stuffier' than most other dating sites
- if you are looking for some easy and casual fun, eHarmony is not for you
- it is a paid site so you'll need get your credit card out if you want to actually interact with anyone on this dating website

eHarmony is a good option if you're happy to pay for your dating site and are looking only for a long term serious relationship. If you would like a free dating site that provides a lot more opportunities for short term, physical relationships (hint hint) try BeNaughty.
